I really don’t want to print off yet another draft for proofreading. But I’m typing Draft #3 up fresh, so typos will happen. A lot. My solution? Spend the first part of my hour proofreading what I typed the previous day. So far, I’m liking this solution.
I’ve already encountered a page riddled with adverbs that I couldn’t get rid of during the editing phase. So I just hacked them out. A couple of phrases had to change slightly, but otherwise it’s working out fine.
And now I’m retreating to bed. The brightness of the laptop’s screen has been leaving spots in my vision, and I’ve had a lingering headache all day. Ick-ick-icky.
